Privacy Policy

Draft for review — do not submit this policy to a platform until it has been checked against the actual app and completed with the operator’s contact details.

StreamClip.L is a project in development. This page describes intended privacy principles, not a claim that all integrations or data-handling practices are already implemented.

Information and permissions

If platform integrations are implemented, the app may request authorization to access the specific account information and actions required for features chosen by the user, such as retrieving livestream information or publishing clips. The app should request only necessary permissions and should explain them before authorization.

Media files

In the intended desktop workflow, downloaded videos, generated clips, captions, and settings may be stored on the user’s computer. Actual storage locations, retention periods, and deletion controls must be documented to match the released software.

Sharing and third parties

When the user chooses to connect a platform or publish a clip, relevant data may be sent to that platform under its own terms and privacy policy. This page does not claim that any specific integration is currently active.

Security and retention

Credentials and access tokens should be protected, not included in public files or shared logs, and revoked when no longer needed. The final policy must explain the real retention and deletion process for tokens, account data, logs, and media.

Children

The service is not intended to be directed at children. The operator should add age-related terms appropriate to the intended audience and applicable law.

Your rights and contact

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of personal information. Before publication, the operator must add a working contact email and identify the responsible person or legal entity, including any applicable EU/EEA representative and complaint rights.

Before public launch: replace this draft with a policy that accurately describes the implemented app, name the responsible operator, add a valid contact address, specify data retention and deletion, and obtain legal review where appropriate. Do not submit this draft as a final compliance document.
